Kari
Flight Computer · Rev 0 · Preliminary design
Kari is one flight computer for my Eos vehicles. I am developing rev 0 for the Eos-0 UAV, and Eos-0 is the first vehicle it will fly.
I named it after the pole star, the fixed reference the vehicles navigate by.
I am designing it myself in KiCad. Its sensors are set by what my Eos controls model needs.
Status: preliminary design since October 2026. No board has been built yet.
This is the plan for rev 0, not a finished design.
- STM32H743 microcontroller
- Two IMUs from different vendors, plus a barometer
- Logging to microSD and onboard flash
- Motor and servo outputs behind a hardware kill gate
- 6-layer board, every part on the top side for assembly
